The story I recall was that they were going to move state royalties straight into their federal pockets until it was pointed out that it was political suicide, so what we ended up with was the mess that ensued.
Now we have the interfering indies who would expose this and Swan running a million miles an hour away from it.
Personally I think the indies are already proving needlessly obstructive ... I'd rather them just tick the boxes for Labor so can self destruct with their poor policies. Why should everyone else have to keep saving them from their dud ideas?
