asf, this is from the supplementary bidder's statement lodged by CQT on 1 September:
in respect of those NQM shareholders who accepted the Offer on or before 17 August 2010, Conquest will provide the Offer consideration by 17 September 2010; and
in respect of those NQM shareholders who accept the Offer after 17 August 2010, Conquest Mining will provide the Offer consideration by the earlier of 1 month after the acceptance date and 21 days after the end of the Offer period.
CQT looks to be on the move, I'm guessing that if we see Acorn buying more NQM this indicates they are acting as a hedge fund and will accept CQT's offer. they already have enough shares to block a compulsory takeover.
I'm also guessing that if the third party does lob in a bid it will have to be in the 40c plus range for the NQM Board to recommend it over the CQT bid, given that the previous rationale about HSK being superior because it consolidates Pajingo has fallen away.
all in all, should be a good few weeks for the NQM SP.
