Zali Steggall had been silent about PEP 11 for several months until today when she reappeared on her Facebook page to remind coastal communities about 'Stop PEP 11'. She shared one of her speeches from the NSW assembly back on 4th September 2023. Could this indicate that the approval for PEP11 is imminent?
This could be a sign of courtesy from Minister King to Zali Steggall, giving her a heads-up about the upcoming decision on PEP 11. Additionally, Minister King and Zali Steggall had a meeting on 8th February 2023 on PEP 11, as documented on https://www.aph.gov.au/Parliamentary_Business/Tabled_Documents/1340 for those interested.
