A word of caution about dividends. You ARE paying the taxes on them and Albo and his money money wasters are not missing out. A clever ploy by successive governments ensure that they (the companies) pay 30% of their profits (your money) to the ATO before the remaining profits are distributed to shareholders. This ensures that individuals can't cheat the ATO and lessons the pressure on government because many individuals aren't aware of taxes they are paying for Albo to waste.
