The West Australian news paper is reporting Alcoa Kwinana is about to announce its closure.
WA is on the cusp of exporting DOMGAS to avoid industry shutting down and to protect new critcial resource projects coming online.
NSW has done nothing and a circuit breaker is needed to fix this dire situation. PEP11 is that circuit breaker.
Without action NSW can say goodbye to Tomago Aluminum (Australia biggest power consumer) Orica Kooragang, Quenos Port Botany and more.
The Australian Federal Government will need to act soon to protect jobs and sure up dispatchable energy.
PEP11 must be given the opportunity to drill.
