I hear what you're saying re: Joel's salary. It's difficult to know how hard he works as we have very little visibility into his day to day. Hell, I work in senior management and my reports probably think I do sweet f* all. I work with these people and even they don't have viz on half of what I do because it's need to know. For all we know he works 14 hour days 7 days a week. For the record, that's only $255 an hour using Murrios calcs of $5K per day. Most likely it's somewhere in the middle. Doesn't really sound that crazy now...
