In 2007, i voted for Labor. In this election I voted Liberal.. for no other reason that I thought that Liberal was better. As a side issue, is the family, which might inherit the lodge. My preference would be for Abbott to live in kirribilli house.
From memory, McMahon got married at a ripe old age, to improve his image (of course, no body can be certain about the real reasons - except those ,closer to the actiom) , On an objective basis, McMahon was a little mouse, and would have had trouble "pulling in the chicks"
for whatever reason Billy Mcmahon "pulled the chick" - and i have no idea why - because he was a couple of decades older than sonia . Billy was the runt of the offspring, and would have had problems "pulling a chick" - but just prior to his charge to the high office - he gets married.
I can see similarities between Gillard and McMahon - but McMahon got married, and did the right thing. Anyway, it is all a side issue - but having a PM who has swapped and changed partners, is not a positive - and at the age of about 50, her present partner has only been there for a few years. It is a side issue, but i would rather Abbott live in kirribilli house. A family man,is a positive, compared to a childless woman, who swaps and changes partners - and our leaders, should be "role models"
