These guys need a wake-up call. If the remuneration report gets 25% no votes at the AGM this year then the company will receive its first ‘strike’. This will give shareholders more say because if things don’t go to our liking and they receive a second strike at the next AGM then there’s a risk that the entire board can be replaced. Companies tend to show a lot more respect to shareholders after they receive their first strike.

I’ll be voting no to it, and I think this will get a lot more traction during the year if things don’t improve on a number of fronts.
