You should have read one of my previous post where the Shorters lost 178 billion last year. I don't think they necessary know more but are just playing the odds. Haven't you notice as they drive the SP down they actually stack the Sellers side so if there is a recovery they are insulated to a degree. At one pont last year they had access to 190 million Syr shares to play with and had 130 million in the market. Currently there is just 100 million shares shorted, at some point they have to buy those shares back, so the 3 million shares on the Sellers side isn't going to cut it.
