Toyota has profited from its Hybrids/plug-in hybrids and IMO
its EV production will ramp-up over the next 5 years when
western markets have adequate charging infrastructure in place
and when the vast majority have made the "culture shift" to EVs .

PS: Ive seen a few large BYDs on the road recently

imo Tesla's mc is more about the PR effect and awe of Musk rather than the productivity and profitability.

its the sales that makes the difference.
