Fair enough, well congrats and best of luck. Some things to note
- management often fail (imv) continuous disclosure rules in spec land. This suggests that rules have enough caveats/ambiguity around what is required, and when, to allow for some stretching, or that ASX, like ASIC, is under resourced and toothless and so companies don't worry too much. I haven't bothered reading the rules because I have just accepted it is what it is
- you are in the fine company of bj, Barry and the occasional other poster in bagging AUQ here. I don't know why you'd own a stock and then sit around and say how terrible the management is (especially bj who has done this for years). I would suggest there are thousands of other stocks on the bourse where you can find a management to your liking. I will then assume that you must not really care that management is terrible (in your eyes), like our friend bj, and that you are here because Alara not only survived the near death experience of having it's Saudi tenement stolen, but pivoted from that into an Oman copper mine within years, picked up a mining servicing company along the way, found a non-dilutive funding package (getting a loan without giving a way a tonne of equity is a miracle at any level, let alone spec land) and has managed to get a mining licence and (almost) build a mine in a relatively virgin jurisdiction and relatively quick time, all things considered.
BJ will tell you these guys are hopeless but given that 95% of explorers never mine a thing we are already in rarefied air. I hope we hit 6c pronto and BJ can finally, hopefully, fark off to his next misunderstood investment where he can whine on that forum for the next 10 years about how terrible management is, all whilst staying invested.
Last time I engaged on this forum BJ said I was an idiot for saying it was undervalued at~3.5c as we approached commissioning. He then told us how he fully expects the shareprice to hit 12c in a breathless post straight after. That is the company you are keeping mate, so be careful of the fleas.
