    1. "It also transforms Whitehaven into a metallurgical coal producer in line with strategy, with pro-forma managed run of mine (ROM) production of around 40 Mt/y annum and pro-forma revenues of around 70% metallurgical coal and 30% thermal coal".

(Does this mean that the met coal a/ revenues &/or b/ net profits of WHC- after the debt is paid off by 30.6.27 at the latest- are expected to be c.130% greater in FY 2028, than the figures that WHC will derive from its thermal operations only in FY 2028?).

    2. "...Completion of the acquisition is expected in the June 2024 quarter subject to satisfying conditions precedent including regulatory and merger control approvals"

(Can someone advise as to whether WHC has yet fully obtained the necessary regulatory approval; & the merger control approval? If not, likely dates?)

    3. "...The Daunia open-cut coal mine is 30 km south-east of Moranbah, and about 170 km southwest of Mackay in Queensland. The mine produces a hard coking coal (HCC) and pulverised coal injection (PCI) metallurgical coal products...".

(Can someone advise, re Daunia, what is the current approx. % of hard coking coal it produces; & ditto the % of PCI coal?
Are both 6000kcal, & which is the most valuable?).

    4. "Back in 2020, BMA announced a A$100 million ($64 million) investment and new jobs as part of the introduction of 34 autonomous trucks at the mine"

(Can someone advise if the A$100 m has already been spent; & the 34 autonomous trucks already introduced?)

    5. ".. both HCC and semi soft coking coal (SSCC) metallurgical coal products are mined at Blackwater. The remaining LOM production is expected to be greater than 50 years".

(Same questions as point 2. above- but replace "PCI" with SSCC?)

    6. CEO P. Flyn said “This is a highly attractive and materially earnings accretive acquisition, with considerable upside potential (my emphases), which we expect will deliver meaningful returns to our shareholders for many years to come".

(Would anyone care to speculate as to why the previous BHP & Mitsubishi owners, consiedering how profitable these mines are/can be, did not devote the time, effort, & further investments into these 2 mines, to achieve their "considerable upside potential" And what specifically is this potential, & how much approx., it is likely to coast?).
