Ppl gotta remember 'The Kimberly' is a completely different beast.
It's an extremely harsh environment with 2 very distinct seasons.

That is why management have acquired tenements in other more 'hospitable' parts of WA.
They have always said the reason for this is the remoteness and seasonality of Kimberly.

The fact that that region experienced the worst floods in over 100 years is easily forgotten when things don't go right.... as in the current SP and general downturn in the worldwide economy.
It's easy to blame management and refer to DT as a 'used car salesmen'.

The floods were not of their making.... also with hindsight.... they would probably agree the campaign on that basis should have been abandoned.

What they did do though was keep their word to SH's and had a go up there

Their thinking with pushing the REE's would have been twofold.

Firstly..... they couldn't get into Kimberly.... no roads or other infrastructure to get rigs and crews in.( Then when they were there they had the bush fires ).
Secondly, and I believe correctly, they persued Yin & the Carbs.... because they were there.... hot on the trail of a globally significant discovery.

They, along with the rest of us were not to know the bottom was going to drop out of the rare earth market.
The 'talk' is that commodities will rebound this year.... the world still needs REAL stuff made with metals and minerals.

As I see it right now.... it's a good thing we have some pretty solid gold prospects to work on.
Mining and commodities are cyclical.... whilst we wait for Ree's to rebound.... the go to in times of trouble will be gold.

Just for the record.... I'm also in the red after various top ups.
Also.... just for the record.... imo.... the DRE team is where I will keep my hard earned $$$$.
85% of funds into the ground.... management with REAL skin in the game.
With some of the hardest working, keenest geo's and management in the game.
