    @Cowboyinvestor, Stock that doesn't sell loses money for Woollies by virtue of the fact that those shelves could be holding stock that does sell.

    It's called opportunity cost.

    I don't know how to make it simpler for you.

    Woollies are well within their rights to make the decision of what to put on the shelves.

    Dutton and others are well within their rights to invent a culture war conspiracy theory claim that it's all about wokeness instead of business.

    I'm well within my rights to state that Dutton's position is ridiculous and untenable.

    The difference is that my position is objectively correct.
