    why is it a stupid question?

    is the premise that the US govt will provide tens of millions $ to build a battery facility to be supplied graphite from the Bunya mine. But the Bunya mine is not funded and doesnt exist .

    chicken and egg stuff.

    How do they realistically get funding to build the battery plant when they don't have a funded mine to provide the graphite?
