The ‘source’ could have access to insider information through various channels, not necessarily by being directly employed by CXO. They might be well-connected within the industry or have other sources of reliable information.
Either way - it’s all speculation, I am merely highlighting the need for critical and balanced way of thinking, rather than jumping to conclusions.
