But (as noted on another current thread here)... if the test costs $10, but the un-needed antibiotic costs $2, then pharma, hospitals, Drs do not give a flying leap re over prescribing. Just give EVERYONE the $2 antibiotic and dont spend $10 on the test that helps the patient (and humanity). The goal is to MAKE MONEY. Now in 20 or 30 years when no antibiotics work via resistance, then the guys that got rich over prescribing.... they dont care... they got rich. I guess the only karma will come when THEY all get a bacteria that attacks their face and genitals and the antibiotics dont work. Oh, even then, they will not care. They are RICH.
