Same at our Woolies, Scoto, although a coastal holiday hot spot, so not surprising, given its the holiday season and the population here has tripled (at a guess). In any case, I think the majority of sensible folks are too busy having a good time with family and friends to give a rat's freckle about their grocery shopping location. By the way have your insects returned? Still nothing here, no summer nightlights abuzz with creepy crawlies for 3 or 4 years here now. Originally, I put it down to the fires and smoke, but if that were the case, then one would think they would have recovered by now. One of my mates, a bird lover, mentioned the other day that he's busy feeding the wild insect eaters' mincemeat to keep them alive coz there's almost no insects to be had. All very puzzling.
