Not strictly true if you understand the very complicated way Employee options are often exercised - something ASIC and the ASX need to do a far better job of informing shareholders on - but get and agree your point loosely.

Beazely inarguably gains far more if he helps move OCC up, but I'd like the strike at $0.50 (and some of the other recent Director options) or higher, which could be offset by bigger amounts. I'd rather him have 3,000,000 at $0.50 than 2,000,000 at $0.40.

Anyway, his six years as US Ambassador should help the company's prospects in the US and his Chair role involvement in the foreign policy think tank for Australia should open some doors:
