Very interesting information Taureanbull about the benefits of fasting while on chemo. I know didly squat about medical stuff but try to keep up to date about simple things like the benefits of exercise, being positive, eating habits etc. I can't for the life of me see how fasting while on chemo could be beneficial. Maybe it is beneficial for only specific types of cancer? Both my oncologist and surgeon encourage me to eat as much as possible to avoid losing weight and to "keep my strength up"? I suffered stomach cancer and had my stomach removed. Been on chemo for 4.5 years now and a big focus is trying to consume as much food and nutrients as possible. I truly am confused how fasting can be beneficial. Could you help me out here please? Have I got the wrong meaning opf "fasting" perhaps?.
