let me tell you something ----------- Churchill is purported by some to have said (matters not if he did or didn't) ----- something like

Well, I've done a lot more with the average voter than Winston ever did ---------- and one thing where I feel that I got about the best part of my education - way better than in the military, way better than at University, way better than other observation stances -
was the years that I owned taxis - and drove.
Now - a taxi driver is kind of like a hair dresser ------- there are a few differences ----- the taxi driver gets people who don't get their hair cut - a subtle but worthy note
anyway ---------- being a taxi driver -------- one gets far far far far far far more of pure look at human nature than Winston ever did with his 5 minute conversation
you get to see it all - from top shelf - to bottom dregs
I've seen it ---------------- and I can tell you something ---------- you're never the same after, you cannot unsee the common man
