Wealth Minerals PEA results for its Kuska brine project in Chile from last week;
The company plans to a TRL-8 DLE technology (with spent brine reinjection) in a two-phase 10+10 ktpa LCE plant over 20 years. Kuska’s indicated resource has a grade of 175 mg/L Li concentration. CAPEX estimate is US $749M, with operating costs at US $5,849/t LCE. Using a long-term price of ~US $30,000/t the NPV10% is US $1.15B post-tax.
Interesting that they used $30,000 as a long term price. That seems high now but I like the low cost of production for a 10ktpa moving to 20ktpa DLE operation.
