There's now the talk of Sodium-Ion batteries. And there are the new hydrogen cars, and there's the Hybrids (petrol + electricity), plus there's the Global Warming deniers (who see no reason to transition to electric), plus there's the old-school petrol engine fans who wanna keep their noisy engines.

Also, there's pressure from oil-producing countries to keep status quo as it is today. Plus there's high interest rates keeping people from purchasing an expensive EV. Plus, EVs do not work for the vast majority of the under developed world, at least for the moment and for years to come.

I used to be very optimistic and bullish on Li, but the last 12 months or so have given me a plenty of reason to think otherwise. Maybe in 10 years from now. Who knows.

I can see this beauty going under $2 very soon. And see no reasons for a rebound in short term.
