This article brings to mind a previous discussion when some challenged Gimo’s (or was it Alexei’s) comment that he believed MinRes had discovered “a fair bit” of gas. Whoever it was was howled down at the time.

Now, I realise that MinRes may be planning to process wgo’s gas as well as its own but 250tj/d is a fair capacity so if it hasn’t already identified the resources required for that size plant then CE is either rolling the dice, future proofing his gas plant, or he’s perhaps signalling his plans to acquire a gas company nearby? I don’t see him going to FID on a wing and a prayer…
