Hi@Jase99
Yes - agree with your comments.
So - we did get an update on Wed, and they have included patients who reached their Day 42 scan since the November Announcement. Great!
To me - this is an excellent update. I see a few posters saying "we have heard this before" or "we have heard most of this before." The answer to that is that this update includes another 6 patients who have reached their initial scan on Day 42. IMU flagged this in the November Announcement, when they told us that they had 8 patients enrolled/stated treatment who had not (at that point) had their day 42 scan.
So the extra 6 will be from the group shown on Slide 17 of the JP Morgan presentation with no result shown for their cancer (ie no PD, SD, PR or CR result).
Most of these newly evaluated patients are still only from the mid dose cohorts, with maybe 2 of them at 1 x 108 and none at the current higher dosing of 3 x 108. It's also still "early days" for them - when you consider that the Complete Responder did not show a complete response until their 4th cycle of therapy (I believe it was their 3rd or 4th scan). The extra Melanoma Partial response mentioned in today's announcement was also at the "mid level" dose.
And we are seeing 53% stable disease even with IV administration! A simple IV needle every few weeks. Compare that to the current Standard of Care - with patients in hospital enduring hours of toxic Chemo infusions and hours of MAB infusion.
For me - this announcement shows that the very promising early data is continuing to look good.
As trial numbers grow - and results start to include the High dose cohorts - we are highly likely to see even better results. The overall results will always be lower than the results for the high dose patients, because the overall results will always include the low dose cohort patients.
Once they determine the optimal biologic dose, and we start to get a string of results for patients at that dosage level, things will become very exciting indeed.
I'm very happy with this update. I bet Professor Fong is too.
Cheers
Dave
