""We are already below that and fixed line revenue only dropped 8%, we have an in principle agreement for $11b, cost cutting and staff reductions have been increased.""

    Kittyboomboom,

What else are we going to cut with staff, (staff reduction have been increased) for God's sake. There is nothing left to cut mate. Face reality.

If you ring someone, for queries/service, you have to talk to a computer, and after talking and waiting and talking and waiting, and.... for hours, you may be lucky to talk to someone in India or Sri Lanka, or someone else that can't hardly speak English, and then you have to hang up in frustration.???

By continuing with that practice, you only promoting customers to the opposition.

Do you live in the Country, or are you just blinded by the dollar signs.???
I have had a dangerous Broken Pit in my house yard for more than two years, and it only got fixed up in the last couple of weeks, because I rang the Telstra Ombudsman. And you want to cut/reduce more staff???

The way we are heading mate, is going back to the stone age and sending smoke signals, lol.

One has to face reality, And that is, that if you want to promote your business, you also have to give/offer the best Customers Service available around. I owned Businesses most of my life, and I belive I know what I am talking about.

I even bought Businesses that were practically Bankrupt and simply turned them around by offering outstanding services to my ever increasing Customer Base, and making a killing on it. Customers become loyal to you when you give them in return a good service, and will continue to spend with you until that part change.

Better face reality mate, and not just wear blinkers.

Telstra is where it is in this moment in time, simply for what it is, and what it has become. Hence why they are fighting to retain their customer base. If they loose anymore of them, they will go further down the drain. MARK MY WORDS ON THAT MATE.

By the way, just in case you came out with saying that you are a number cruncher and that you may know what you are talking about, let me assure you that I am a number cruncher myself, with a total different view than yours though.

All is good on my part mate.

    Buddy
