Hard to predict the length of a flow test, especially in geology that has never been tested before.
They probably thought it was achievable in 6 months - but you saw what happened: they dewatered to quickly and it f*ed the permeability.
I don't think anyone knows exactly how long it is going to take, including Richard Cottee - sorry to say Jason.
The only way would could potentially work out how long is this going to take, is to look at how the flow rate is building up at TMK. Albeit low rates now, it seems to be going up exponentially. I haven't done the maths yet, you could probably work out by when they would reach the desired flow by compounding the increases over a period of time based on the figures in their chart and then add 3 months because they started earlier than us and had the right approach from the get go (as they learned from us).
