    1. When Shares Are Overvalued For starters, buybacks should only be pursued when management is very confident the shares are undervalued.

    Well I do believe they bought just before the JORC so there should be no surprise in buying now.

    2.A company buying overvalued stock is destroying shareholder value and would be better off paying that cash out as a dividend.

    That would be very funny as shareholders paid more cash backing than current SP.

    3.As investors, we should look more closely at share buybacks.

    No ASIC should look at it.

    Especially when done in a cash raising as it was and when it is put to action one can say why did the Directors buy before the share buyback one could say like ASIC that in the manner that this is done it has a definite affect to the SP and is possibly holding back price sensitive news.

    They do risk being Delisted in the way they go about this and lets not forget Wayne has the I dont give a shirt Attitude especially if he feels hard done by.

    Most will love the SP to go back up though because I am sure many are waiting for a chance to disten themselves from CDU the hole thing is a mess that is the fact of it all.
