Yep, it sounds like EM has significant plans to make AKP's MEMS and DSR technology a central focus of their product marketing into China. Even if there is scant acknowledgement of AKP's role in that development. I dare say that it would help EM's market acceptance in its own market sphere to give the impression that the relevant IP is their own 'with a little help from AP's expertise'. But if it helps AKP get its product made and launched in China that can only be good for AKP globally.
I am reminded of Danny Lewin's recent (30/05/23) response to questions on the relationship of AKP to EM when it comes to IP ownership:

This is possibly AP's public relations mirror image of EM's approach in its own market. It seems to me however that AP has to acknowledge to us that EM has clearly made a lot of fairly important, if not vital, technical contributions to getting the GEN I and then the GEN II chips to the place the company has previously indicated that they are at.
Whatever the situation is with actual delayed delivery of the supposedly finished chips from EM to AP Israel, I just hope the company sees fit to comment for itself and update us all clearly and openly. Until it does so hopefully this interview statement from EM will at least be a wake up call for all us AKP holders. I just hope AP's board is listening.
