They released a portion of the funds, giving in to his blackmail in the hope he would vote in favour of Ukraine aid, but he did not lift his veto. Now they'll vote to remove his vote.
He overplayed his hand and it looks like they'll sideline him as a result.
I still don't get why this is such a hard concept for the self proclaimed "pro-rule of law" cry babies.
