Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.
Jesus also says, you must be born again by the Spirit, these words in Peter, are Spirit and Life, to which the God and Father gave Jesus, to have life in himself.
Hence, Spirit and Words are interchanged, one in the same = and God was/is the Spirit/Word and NOT Jesus, he became the carrier of the word = the word of God, hence he was given the name, to represent this = The Word of God.

Jesus was given the Spirit/Word without measure, so he could preach the word of God, the Fathers, the only true God, when Jesus was here.
