For those of you have read everything I posted above, you will know that the new generation of batteries will be Lithium metal and not Lithium Ion. Pure Lithium has passed even SES AI as the preeminent battery. You will also have noticed that while the anode will be 100% unadulterated lithium (no graphite), the cathode will be 100% Vanadium.
Thus, this all fits in well with Robert Friedland's already commercially ready VRB Energy.....

VRB® Energy Completes Phase 1 Commissioning of 10MW/40MWh Utility-Scale Solar and Storage Project

But there are two significant issues with this.... The company is literally all about China, and is majorly controlled by Chinese interests. Also, this is a large scale, utility sized battery for renewable energy interests. This type of battery does not work for vehicular propulsion.

But, Pure Lithium flips these two issues on its head. Pure Lithium is all about making local sourcing and "as short as possible" logistic lines the rule. And Pure Lithium is an American company. So, Pure Lithium is in the process of securing ESG compliant Lithium from North America (it has already tied down sourcing from Lithium Bank (through Go2Lithium)), and I suspect that it will end up securing Lithium in America proper via ExxonMobil (Through Go2Lithium) and possibly the Salton Sea Geothermal parcels in California. I also suspect that Pure Lithium will be tying down Lithium in Saudi Arabia (through Go2Lithium) to help them in their renewable energy ventures. Notice that to make their batteries actually work, though, they will need Vanadium. And if these batteries are to be sold in the United States and the Western world, the Vanadium will need to be sourced from a "friendly" country/company.
