we have had this argument before - NATO does not , nor has ever threatened russian national security or they wouldn't have withdrawn all their forces from the NATO brders to fight in Ukraine leaving themselves totally exposed to NATO .
They know full well - unlike you - that NATO a) have no interest to invade russia b) can't invade russia (nukes)
russia invasion had nothing to do with "national security " but with russian expansion Q.E.D.

Finland just as significant as Ukraine to russias national security and joined NATO BECAUSE of the invasion . NATO are always about stopping russian influence beyond their own borders - stopping the sorts of things russia does in Ukraine and Georgia etc .
