Everyone else is having a crack... I may aswell throw my 2 cents in. Whoever states that Hotcopper does not influence the share price is absolutely kidding themselves.... yeah its not going to send the share price from 10c to 1$ (or back) in a week, but its the incremental movements that all add up. We start at 10 cents, no news for a few weeks.... "no news is not good news in this world.. sell sell sell" = 18 worried "mum and dads" sell (amongst other normal trades)... and we are at 9.3c.... assays then released with solid 1st pass results, no huge numbers released but we have 18 high quality targets defined to be further inve stigated... " if they didnt strike gold on this pass they are pushing it uphill and this will never ever turn into a hugh grade producing mine"... 13 more sellers... throw in some stop losses that get hit now we are at 8.5c..... then we go back to 8.8 but no news for another 4weeks and we are at 8.1... some people with 1000 posts (so they must be very knowledgeable....) state this is going bakwards. All of sudden there is a gap at 7.7 and farkk that now needs to be filled and dont people make that known on hotcopper... now we are at 7.7 and so on and so forth. If hotcopper does not influence the share price, why is the people paid to come on here and influence... human nature at its most basic is exactly this.... i want the share price to go up so I am not going to post anything negative. And before you chartests and gap filler comeback at me.... I KNOW... charts dont lie blah blah blah. But stop lying to yourselves - what is put on hotcopper and other forums does influence the price.
