I've been looking at this a while as there's potentially good value, but also have similar concerns.
My take is that the 'UK contract' is the possibility of a contract from a hospital or network in the 4-year window, but does't seem to be anyone trying to sell in the UK.
Also unclear if the version of Salix used to get earlier approvals is the same version being described by the CEO in the * article mentioned earlier and if this has any impact on the earlier approvals - was the earlier Salix was only for assessing calcium score? Can they sell the Salix version to be used for FDA submission in the UK right now?
I tend to disagree on the binary nature of the FDA outcome as the FDA could request further info, which will then take at least another few months after the initial decision, pushing approvals out towards the later stage of this CY.
