You see, we do not want coal-fired power because it will destroy our world. So on to RUINABLES. BUTT, we are happy to dig up coal and export it to everyone else and shut our eyes to the sheer and gross conflict in restricting King Coal creating abundant and cheap power for our own people and industry. So bad for us but good for ROTW!
Similarly, NO PROBLEMO for banks' lending to fossil cos to flood the markets with coal, oil and gas BUTT they strive for carbon neutrality in their own operations as if THAT will make any difference to the impending destruction of mankind through MMGW!!
OK, so we have to decide at the political level whether MMGW is real. IF IT IS, the pollies must immediately stop all fossil development and export and demand that all entities adhere to "net zero" within, say, two years! If they are not willing to do this, then make it open slather and stop ALL restrictions on fossils!
