@michelef and @noddan - the 'buns' wouldnl't leave me alone, especially since early on in our 'Australian' days, we'd celebrate 'Fastnacht' with our friends - I remember some misshapen buns my then modest cooking and baking skills produced - all gone now - as it seems, I have too many celebrations from beginning of December in my family - and birthdays etc. in Jan. -so February comes as a relief . . .
