That's incredible. So FFX recognised this as a reasonable risk, hence organising it to be indemnified, but buried it away in the prospectus (and potentially tipped off a keen-eyed Mali official to the $ potential?). And if this is the topic of a current dispute, neither FFX nor LLL have announced it to the market. Ganfeng also cleverly saw and avoided the liability too. Leaving LLL holding the bag for potentially another FFX "oversight".
FFX Board really pulled together to make a mess of this one didn't they, though doubt "multi-billion-dollar destroyer of wealth" will feature too prominently on their CVs as they inevitably continue their deft work elsewhere at the expense of other retail holders.
