However, the issue with referring to wisdom from the likes of your Buffett’s & what not is that they only have to demonstrate they’re right once to justify the credibility that tends to be attached to them. Again, Latimore would be a prime example of this.
Look at all the stocks he’s greatly involved in.
How many have returned a profit had you have invested in them at the time that he did?
This stock is now at a crossroads of sorts whereby they’re essentially a producer - they’re set up in a position to be digging up the product, trucking it, loading it, shipping it and selling it. It’s pretty straightforward.
So, with all that product they’re doing the following, they’re not getting back a dollar in profit.
Again, that’s pretty straightforward that their operation(s) is breaking down somewhere. They can’t really blame the spot-price because that’s pretty okay, so what’s causing the breakdown then to prevent them from declaring a profit?
Until the company can show the market they’ve managed to achieve a single dollar of profit, this is going to continue to slide and unfortunately with the amount of dilution existent, climbing that hill back up to 10c, 20c, 30c etc., is going to be far far more difficult than when it originally traded at those levels.
