Bots still active, and obvious play in the closing price auction to drop the share price half a cent back to 40c. I put in a small order at 40.5c and saw the bots adjust to ensure a 40c finish.
Sellers want a higher price, buyers want a lower price. If the bots are taking the price lower, only a couple of possibilities behind the action:
1) Shorting and attempting to drive the price lower, and there is minimal shorting here;
2) Accumulation.
I have also seen share prices driven lower leading into a takeover offer, and we are much more attractive down here, imo.
