The current SP is at record lows. All time record lows. If you shorted at any time and held until today, you would be in front.
And the shorting increased significantly on ALL the major peaks and decreased on all the major troughs. Like they knew or something - but that's not possible, is it?
Recently, as SI was spruiking the likelihood of a partnership, the short position spiked hard (pushing MSB into one of the most shorted stock on the ASX again). And then shortly after the CR was announced and the shorters were rewarded again, after a massive discount.
2% short on a shares that have recently been diluted by 40% (via the last CR) isn't chicken feed.
