I believe David answered that question about a seat on the Synlait's board during q&a session last AGM. If I remember correctly it was first or one of the first questions. He said that as minority holder A2M is not entitled to a seat. The only way for them to go is through a standard selection process which they choose not to pursue. I guess the reason might be that Synlait has 8 directors and should have at least half (4) as independent, another 4 are from BD. I don't think anybody from A2M will be counted as independent. Saying that, afaik BD directors are not allowed to vote in independent director selection.
