re preparing patch this is how i setup my 2 3x1.2m beds
thick layer mulch compost mix down the bottom then top layer compost soil mix.. then again 5-10cm mulch turned thru the top layer
worm castings from the worm farm(and a few worms) next and then some dynamic lifter.. water it, turn it now and then with semi to full decomposed compost from ur heap.. by the time its planting season u have an excellent base to start from. check ph and add ingredients to the mix to balance between 6.5-7.5
