Amigo, I get that carbonatites have ore that is at about 5% rare earths, so from that starting position, the ore of MP and Lynas is outstanding. But my understanding is that all of MP's and Lynas's ore has to go through high pressure processing (cracking, I think CEO Don Swartz called it). In contrast, ARR's ore does not require high pressure cracking - a massive advantage for ARR in terms of CAPEX and OPEX, according to Swartz. It is especially true, given the recent announcement by ARR that it can use density-magnetics-gravity to increase the grade of its ore to 5% rare earths prior to the next stage of processing by chemicals and or bio-ligands. With regards the use of acid, ARR's processing with sulphuric acid is likened to the ammonia processing that is required for clay-based rare earths, according to Swartz. And an inconvenient truth about almost all carbonatite-ore is that it results in radioactive waste which must be disposed of responsibly. This is not a problem for ARR's ore.
