I think you are right with your comment on worrying. This could apply to anything but if you have no control over it, living in fear is not healthy.
In the original article I saw on this topic, the writer was suggesting people panic sell their shares. That alone made me suspect of the narrative in general, which is why I came here to see if anyone wanted to have a discussion about this topic in relation to how the ASX system works. I highlighted a few flaws with the conspiracy above, the main one I see is that it does not make sense unless you assume people in power want to give up their power. Regardless of politics I think we can all agree that is quite an unlikely motivation?
As for learning lessons, humanity never seems to learn. Nothing new under the sun, as the bible says!
