UPDATE AVDEEVKA: The AFU is retreating without a fight from very important positions!
The enemy in the southern part of Avdeevka wavered. Having failed to knock us the Russians out of Sobornaya Street and nearby streets, there was a fierce fight yesterday and [Russian] units repelled all the AFU counterattacks, the Armed Forces of Ukraine surrendered the most important fortified area of southern Avdeevka - the air defense military unit - without a fight.
And in fact, they rolled back to 8-9 microdistricts, to the position called “Fortress”. Russian units are gaining a foothold on new frontiers already in urban development. As a result, RAF completely control the upper southern part of the city and its suburbs, from which everything is clearly visible right up to Koksokhim plant.
The Russia army definitely won’t be able to take the “Fortress” without preparation. But the AFU garrison in the eastern part of Avdievka is essentially suspended in the air and its supply lines are now constantly under fire, including from ATGMs.
