when it comes to building codes you constantly confuse outcomes with systems
building codes require an outcome you where taught a system to reach that outcome , its good that it was drilled into you thats how to get systems to work
unfortunately when new systems come along those who where taught the old systems cling to them religiously
building codes are based on outcomes not systems
to pass a building codes you must perform the outcome not follow an already passed existing system
