The point I was making was that Putin has been talking about the case of the Russians in the eastern Ukraine ( predominantly) and Crimea and the need to protect their rights and identity since 2014. Fact.

The second point I was making was the completely irrelevant, nonsensical, and completely pointless decree made by Z in the light of his country disintegrating before the world’s eyes.

How is Ukraine and the international experts going to implement any plan regarding the situation of the Russian citizens, on the Russian territory, who Z claims to be Ukrainian Max?

If Z knew what I know, he would have visited Moscow multiple times between 2019 - 2022, and work with the neighbours on achieving a compromise, which would have set the tone for a long lasting peaceful solution between the 2. It’s too late now.
