Electricity prices going up and generating issues rising seems to be a good thing for the nutter’s to push their decarbonisation agenda.

I just cannot see how their EV future is going to help tackle climate change as the added burden of charging the Tealsla’s (or whatever brand of ev they choose) is going to help deliver affordable energy security to our country.

The East Coast grid is currently struggling to meet the needs on hotter days and that’s with the relative safety of our aging coal fired plants and gas plant backups providing a good 60% (as an average) of the electricity supply.

Imagine the chaos of having to keep a couple of million vehicles charged on top of the populace cooking only on electricity stoves and heating/cooling their homes with a split system.

The nutter’s tell us their alternative’s to fossil fuels are cheaper and they expect us to believe them.

They tell us that their alternative’s will save Mr P Bear and our porridge will not be too hot or too cold but just right every morning but fail to be able to tell us how we will be able to afford to pay for the electricity to run the stove or drive the car to the shop to by the ingredients for our breakfast.

I wonder if polar bears are omnivores, we could start feeding them these nut’s as that would lower emissions, all round.
