I'm surprised that an ex school principal doesn't know that the 26th January commemorates the day ALL Australians became Australians, rather than British subjects, on the 26th January 1949 thanks to the Nationality and Citizenship Act 1948 coming into effect.
The British arrived in Botany Bay on the 18th January and moved to Sydney Harbour on the 23rd January. January 26th has nothing to do with British Colonial invasion except for the desperate left wing stirrers that wish to diivde the country by using lies and deceit
